VOLCANIC SOIL

Very rich in nutrients it is ideally suited for the growth of coconuts

EXCELLENT QUALITY

CHARCOAL

The carbonized coconut shells allow the production of first-class barbecue briquettes

4 HOURS BURNING TIME

4 HOURS BURNING TIME

Thanks to their compact structure, VOLCOA barbecue briquettes made of coconut shells burn much hotter, longer and more evenly than conventional charcoal. One grill filling is enough for up to four hours of grilling pleasure.

A clean and almost smoke-free combustion brings out the natural taste of the grilled food. The briquettes can also be used on the balcony. The briquettes are suitable for many common coal grills, e.g.: Ball, column, lotus, smoker and Dutch oven grills.

VOLCOA barbecue briquettes produce very little ash. This makes cleaning easier.

Quality Assurance

100% NATURAL & CO2-NEUTRAL

100% NATURAL & CO2-NEUTRAL

The coconut shells for the VOLCOA barbecue briquettes come from sustainable production. This means that the coconuts are constantly growing back. As a result, the barbecue briquettes achieve a neutral CO2 balance. The carbon dioxide produced during combustion is captured again as new coconuts grow. It’s good for the environment. VOLCOA barbecue briquettes are 100% natural products. The charred coconut shells are crushed and pressed into briquettes with tapioca starch. Tapioca is obtained from the manioc root.

The coconut shells are carbonised in state-of-the-art coal furnaces. This can significantly reduce the environmental impact.

Sustainable

FAIR TRADE

FAIR TRADE

The VOLCOA barbecue briquette production facility is located in Indonesia and is committed to the BSCI Code of Conduct to improve working conditions. This stands for adequate pay for workers, adherence to working hours, health and safety at work, and the prohibition of child labour.

In addition, local farmers benefit from the transfer of state-of-the-art technology and production processes. The new gas-free “Adam retort furnace” not only protects the environment but also produces high-quality coal. And, better product quality means more money for the producing farmers.

Social Responsible

Light Up Correctly

Light Up Correctly

  1. For a perfect barbecue experience, VOLCOA barbecue briquettes should always be lit with an ignition chimney.

  3. Fill an ignition chimney with the barbecue briquettes and place it on top of the burning barbecue lighters.
  1. Depending on the outside temperature, the barbecue briquettes are ready for use after about 20-30 minutes.
